SALMON FISHING
Salmon fishing trips leave the dock at 6am and return at 2pm.
The Salmon fishing grounds are as little as 10 minutes and up to 1.5 hours away from the dock
While fishing for salmon we troll with Scotty electric downriggers using assorted lures and bait. Using top quality "Islander" single action reels as well as Shimano lever-drag dual action reels combined with 10.5 foot mooching rods provides great fun and excitement catching Pacific Salmon.
Normally we fish 2 - 3 rods at a time for salmon. If the conditions are bad i.e.: poor weather or crowded fishing conditions we will only fish 2 rods at a time.
Lunches are included on package trips.
HALIBUT FISHING
Halibut fishing trips leave the dock at 6 am and return at 2 pm.
The halibut fishing grounds are as little as 20 minutes away from the dock.
While fishing for halibut we jig using either bait (octopus, salmon, squid, or herring) or by using weighted rubber squirts.
We use sturdy 6 foot halibut rods with Shimano TLD 15 lever-drag reels filled with 100 pound test "tuff" line. You can fish up to 4 rods at a time while fishing for bottomfish if the conditions are good.
Lunches are included on package trips.
