Fishing Boat: The Silver Lady
This vessel was built in June of 1998 by Armstrong Marine in Sidney, B.C. The overall length is 30 feet with a 10 foot beam. The vessel is a welded aluminum boat with an 8.5 foot cabin and lots of deck space.
It is powered by a new Volvo D6 310 hp diesel with a dual prop leg. There is also a 20horsepower 4-stroke kicker used an auxillary motor and for trolling for salmon. 800 litres of fuel gives the Silver Lady a range of about 475 miles.
You can sleep three comfortably and four people if you had to. There is a private head on board. For heat she is equipped with a bus heater and a diesel stove
(Sigmar). Other ammenities include a sink with running water, cooler, refrigerator and sound system.
There is a full compliment of electronics on board. 2 VHF radios, 2 GPS, radar, 2 depth sounders, cell phone, satt. phone, running lights, searchlight, and aircraft landing lights. All safety equipment is on board as well. Oxygen, survival suits, raingear, flares, life jackets, heaving line, fire extinguishers, and a fire suppressant system in the engine room.
The vessel is also equipped with all the sport fishing gear you will need.
Halibut: Fighting belts, rods and reels, rod holders, halibut harpoons, gaffs, jigs, spreader bars, bait rigs, all other tackle, and a large fish locker.
Salmon: Scotty electric downriggers, rods and reels, bait live-well, rod holders, Scotty black box, all tackle, 4-stroke auxiliary trolling motor, nets, gaffs, and a large fish locker.
The Silver Lady is a very seaworthy vessel and is a safe platform to fish off of. She has fished from Victoria to Prince Rupert, the west side of the Queen Charlotte Islands all the way up to Langara Island.
Fishing Boat: The Psycho Tail
Our new boat is named the “Psycho Tail”.
It is a 24 foot fiberglass boat built in Victoria by Jenkins Marine in the spring of 2006. It is powered by two 2006 140hp 4-stroke Suzuki outboards. It has a private head and heated cabin.
This vessel can comfortably seat 4 persons plus the captain.
Vessel is D.O.T. approved and has all the necessary safety equipment.( life jackets, flares, waterproof light, horn, heaving line with rescue quoit, radar reflector, running lights, rails, fire extinguisher, ac power )
With a cruising speed of 25 knots all the fishing spots are quickly accessible.
The vessel comes equipped with a marine head, diesel heater for the cabin, wash down pump for the deck, full compliment of electronics ( vhf, sounder, G.P.S. with map plotter, radar, lights), and a large fish locker.
Only top quality fishing gear used. Islander single action reels, Fenwick rods, Scotty electric downriggers, Daiwa halibut rods, and Shimano lever-action reels for the salmon and halibut.
